YMCA College of Physical Education was established in the year 1958, and recognized by Government of Karnataka, NCTE and Affiliated to Bangalore University. This year B.P.Ed and D.P.Ed students' secured cent Percent result and 100% job placement in various schools.
The College offers professional degree courses in affliation with Bangalore University and NCTE. Courses are open to both men and women. The courses are residential.Our Courses follow well-planned sylabus for efective results. They cover all areas of Physical Education, with special emphasis on Yoga, multiple games, field activities. Exxhaustive coverage of Athletics, many Formal Activities and Projects included.
Facilities available for members at City YMCA
The cricket academy traines upto 100 students every year. It also conducts internal matches in the YMCA ground and exposure tournament outside Bangalore. Three teams YMCA1, YMCA2, YMCA3 participated in the K.S.C.A league tournament. Team I won 3 matches, Team II won 3 matches and Team III won 2 matches.
Event conducted
The YMCA Computer Academy which is accredited to National Institute of Open Schooling, New Delhi. It conducts various Certificate courses in Computer Applications, Desk Top Publishing, Computer Hardware Assembly and Maintenance, Secretarial Practice (PA/PS), Diploma in modern Secretarial, Practice Stenography and Data Entry Operations and prepare them for the Government Certificate Examinations.
